Requirements: A photo ID, current TB test, current combo Background check (criminal with sex offender search), and one of the following:

1.) 40-Hour Direct Care certificate

2.) 40-Hour Personal Care certificate approved by DMAS. Special note: Not all PCAs are accepted. The PCA accepted needs to states something along the lines of “Approved by the Department of Medical Assistance Services”

Or 3.) A Virginia CNA license OR Virginia Nurse Aide course completion certificate
